How You Eat: What it Says about You

by | Feb 15, 2022

In the last few newsletters I’ve focused on what Intentional Eating is. To recap, it’s an approach to eating that honors your inner-wisdom about what you need from food so you can make choices that take care of you without guilt or shame.

The way you eat is a snapshot of how you feel about yourself – you can eat Mindlessly with self-judgement, or Intentionally with self-compassion. I help women get really clear on why they’re eating at any given time, so they can feel confident and unapologetic about the way they take care of themselves.

Take a look at this chart, what’s your eating style?

Most of my clients have lived that miserable first column (me, too), and living like that is a set up for guilt, shame, self-judgement, and ultimate failure. Living like that takes away your confidence and leaves you feeling horrible about yourself.

A different way, a better way, a way that will make you feel happy, joyous, and free, is Intentional Eating. Just look at that list on the right! Don’t you want that way of life to be your life?

If you’re stuck in a cycle of mindless eating and finding it hard to change (or maybe you think it’s impossible to change ☹), and/or you’re beating yourself up for having no will power, join me for a GROUP WORKSHOP SERIES and take a deeper dive into Intentional Eating starting March 1. We’ll meet for 6 consecutive weeks on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm via Zoom. The cost is $525, but you can enjoy 25% off by using code INTENTIONAL25! Get more info on my website or jump right in and Register Here. There are a few seats left.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Honor your body’s natural hunger and fullness cues
  • Enjoy ALL foods
  • Choose the foods that are right for you
  • Appreciate and have gratitude for your body
  • Become aware about what you truly want and need in a holistic way
  • Practice sustainable self care and eating habits that will last a lifetime

As a result, you’ll know a new freedom and a new happiness. You’ll have the confidence and self-compassion to feel great about yourself, no matter what. AND you’ll be able to nourish and nurture yourself on the deepest levels. Now tell me, doesn’t that sound fantastic?

We start Tuesday, March 1, and there are a few seats left. Register Here.

Warmly,

Jennifer
